Let’s create a mural

Do you have a mural project in mind and are curious to find out how to turn the ideas in your head into a vibrant art piece on your wall? Whether you want to promote your business with a funky mural or freshen up your home with some wall art, I’ve got you covered! Let me walk you through the process of putting your vision on that wall.

First contact: Let’s get in touch! Send me a message through the channel of your preference. Whether it’s an email, through socials, a phone call or a text, I’ll be sure to get back to you. Include as much as you already know about the project. Do you have a particular style you like? A specific subject? What’s your budget range? Feel free to include some inspo pics. If you can, please take a picture for me of the space you want painted and get the measurements. But also if you’re just curious and your ideas are still developing, don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll go from there.

Budget and quote: If you scroll down you will find a guide to my pricing process. I can either provide you with a quote based on your ideas for the design, or come up with a design based on your budget.

Meeting and Viewing: Depending on your location, our next step would be a face to face meeting and viewing of the wall in question. If you are based a bit further away, no worries we can video call too.

Contract: Once we’ve agreed on a price and a vision for the project, I will draw up a contract.

Design Process: To start the design process I will need two things from you: a short brief of your ideas and a down payment to cover my time for the design-work. Depending on how detailed your brief is, I may start with written proposals or dive straight into a digital mock-up. Either way, communication is key and my goal is to combine your vision with my creative energy to figure out a design you’ll love.

Approvals: In case of a public mural, we will need to get approval from third parties such as towns counsels, building owners etc. While this is your responsibility, I am happy to assist and provide any information that will help to get a green light.

Installation: Now that all the groundwork has been done, we are almost at the exciting part. Before I can get started on your wall, I will charge you 50% of the agreed upon fee, as soon as that payment has gone through, I will get started on your mural. Generally I’ll be managing my working hours independently, however I am happy to coordinate them with your business hours or preferences.

Finish: When all that’s left is waiting for the last paint to dry and you are in love with your new wall art, I will send you your last invoice. Let’s stay in touch, connect through are socials and feel free to contact me for future touch ups or more projects.

Pricing

All my murals are unique commissions and therefore they will have their unique and individual pricing. To give you an idea of the price range you are in, I created the following system based on level of detail and the size of the wall. However, there are more factors such as special equipment needed (i.e. tall ladders or scaffolding), amount of preparation work, material of the wall, travel expenses and more, that will influence my final quote. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with your requests and we’ll figure it out together.
